WHY BEADS ?
We love beads because they’re soothing to the touch and gorgeous to look at. No wonder they have a 40,000-year history.
Cultures from India and the Nile Delta to the Americas have used bead products as beauty accessories, mandalas, talismans, tools for spiritual rites, and even currency.
Beads have also been utilized as objects of divination and represented various deities. In the modern world, beads are primarily used for articles of decoration and the manufacture of worry beads, or tsbehs.

Keys to Inner Peace
The tsbeh (also known as worry beads, komboloi, rosaries, and malas) is a simple yet ingenious object that helps people calm their nerves and ward off anxieties.
Cultures throughout the world use tsbehs for prayers, meditation, and relaxation. It’s not surprising that, in time, this multifaceted tool has caught the attention of artists and craftsmen, becoming an object of sublime creative expression.
Tsbehs today run the gamut of styles and bead types. At Zart Nouveau, we design our own tsbehs, from scratch, drawing inspiration from the most striking crafts traditions of the world.
